After/during the ritual (?) when they abruptly go back to London, there is no real explanation - there is no debriefing as to what happen, what they saw, what went down. When Kennedy phones Matthew from the ritual, logic dictates the first thing she would say is "here I am, where are you?" instead it is like a regular phone conversation where there is no urgency except from Matthew as he tries to find her. This is especially true when they go to great lengths to say "Everything you hear is true!". Kennedy is pretty brave, but to basically describe Henry's face in a pickle jar as matter-of-factly as she does, isn't very realistic. There is a time shift when Matthew says to Dean, twice "Hike?", that is where there is a multi-verse or time shift, lost time or something occurs.
